Coffee shop

I was in the village for a WI meeting with two other members in connection with arrangements for speakers in the coming year. We met in the coffee shop at 10 am and it was already busy, I am not surprised it is popular with an array of cakes like this. But, as always, I wish somebody would invent a coffee machine that didn’t involve frequent hissing and intermittent loud banging! All the customers were speaking loudly over the noise of the coffee machine and it was not a very relaxing place to be. And we didn’t even have a cake! However, our arrangements were concluded successfully thank goodness.
