Saturday morning despondency

Ottawacker Jr. was again in the nets for the U11 match against Toronto FC's academy team (or the regional Cumberland chapter), and once more the Internationals came up short, this time 2-0.

However, the small one had an exceptionally good game, making a high number of saves (not all of them for the camera) and generally keeping his side in the match until the end. There was even evidence of a certain amount of listening to his coach... The referee came up to him at the end of the match and congratulated him on a fine performance (which was nice but which made it difficult for Ottawacker Jr. to complain about the two goals conceded). In fairness, neither of them was his fault.

Home, brunch.
