This is just the time of year when Scarlet Ink Caps appear and I know a place where they pop up every year, so went to photograph them. Edible yes, but why would you? They're small and they look so pretty where they are.

It's Candlemas, 40 days after Christmas, so I took down the Christmas greenery.
