Stumbled over this old distance marker in Castle Douglas this morning telling me right for London or left for Port Patrick….I know where I’d rather go!

The butchers window in Castle Douglas puts local obituaries in their shop window, I was admiring the award winning links sausages when my eyes wandered to the the recently deceased announcement of Peggy McBride…….I’ll pass for the time being thanks!
