Land and Sky…

A view as we walk from the road into the Taylor River Reserve. The Wither Hills are in the distance. It is amazing how quickly the hills lose their green, fresh look after a few days of dry, hot weather.
Maisie and I walked a little later again. I haven’t yet got into my early morning routine of getting up around 5.am. Once early cloud cover dissipated, the weather became very very warm and extremely humid. I heard today that the weather throughout the whole country is humid. We are hoping for dry weather that will help achieve good drying conditions for all those unfortunate folk to dry out their homes in the top of the North Island.
