Blackbird

The Linné University in Kalmar are celebrating their PhD Graduates this afternoon and during this evenings banquet there will be various entertainments from the stage. Someone suggested the song "Blackbird", since Paul McCartney wrote it with "Little Rock nine" in  mind (details). Blackbird is slang for Black woman. The song is actually really appropriate for the occasion. 

I'm accompanying a young singer Emma Ebintra, on guitar. Wish me luck, this is my debut on the biggest stage in town. The photo is a rehearsal photo from earlier today. I'll probably not be home until late.
