Roses blooming …

….. ….. ….. inside a mostly dead bush. It looks incredibly dead and finished, and yet there’s this one branch on the inside, still blooming prettily. I’ve no idea what its name is.

We walked early, fortunately, as there’s been significant wonderful rain. Such a relief but whether it holds off the forecast drought remains to be seen.
