My topsy-turvy life

Open fire anniversary

The anniversary of our first date-that-wasn't-actually-a-date.
Louisa had an appointment in Stoke this morning so we stopped off at the Fitzherbert Arms in Swynnerton on the way back for a lunch of a fish platter and sticky toffee pudding next to the open fire. It was perfect to to spend a couple of hours just the two of us relaxing together.

I still feel very lucky that this incredible lady seems willing to put up with me and very glad that we accepted there was something more after that 'date'.
