hellebore

I've spent nearly all day out of doors, and mostly gardening. It felt as though I did a lot, cutting back, pruning, clearing the way for snowdrops and daffodils to come up, but the garden doesnt look much different. Still, I enjoyed being outside, in the sunshine, with the background of birdsong.

The hellebores have just started to bloom, and here is a pretty pink one. I'm always surprised at how complex they are .
