Full moon again!

Happy Birthday to
older teen!  Coffee cake and
even more pizza :-)

We finally had a good night sleep! Ben's bloods were stable so there was no beeping and Leo slept until 5, had a wee and still went back in his crate afterwards!  There were presents and minor festivities for a sixteenth birthday and I spent the morning baking a coffee cake tray bake with coffee fudge frosting and sprinkles, as requested (see extras!).  I was relieved it turned out well.  We had a bacon sandwich type lunch and then Ben and Leo and I went for our woods walk.  Leo is getting very strong in the sling now, he clearly wants to be out and about on his own four feet.  Just 5 more days until we are vet-approved for being on the ground! Ben has been struggling today though, obsessions are rearing their head, left, right and centre.  It must be due to the birthday vibes, he doesn't like it when someone else is the centre of attention but really the day was not that different for him.  We were talking about what time of day older teen was born (6:58pm if you're interested!) and Ben got completely taken by the idea that he needed to know what number ward he was on when he was born and he was adamant that I should google it and find out.  He couldn't be convinced that that information did not exist in the Internet sphere.  Sigh.  Then he wanted to buy new DVLA driving books and then he wanted to look at old timetables for holidays we had last year.  It's not been an easy day.
Still, never mind.
On a lighter note, we popped around to the neighbours behind the house to tell them we're having some fencing put up next to the hedge tomorrow to keep Leo in and they were so pleased to meet the dog which was sweet.  And most importantly we discovered that the weird wiry cat that comes in the garden belongs to the people at the end of their garden and is called Madison.  It made me laugh, we call it "Crazy Cat" and our opposite neighbours call it "Thin Cat".  So finding out her actual name and gender felt like a big deal :-D A little bit of extra community cohesion!!  Maybe I need to get out more!
The photo was the full moon from early this morning when I took Leo for a wee, small bonus for being up at an ungodly hour!
