Canadian geese

The large Canada goose is a goose native to North America and Canada. The species can be found regularly in the Netherlands; they are usually once-escaped aviary and park birds. Since the 1975s, the large Canada goose can be found as a breeding bird in the Netherlands. The species often crosses with barnacle geese and small Canadian geese. As a result, all kinds of mixed forms can be found, which sometimes makes recognition a bit more difficult. The large Canada goose can regularly be found on fens in Brabant and in the lower parts of the western Netherlands.
And not only in the low parts of the Netherlands. You also encounter them en masse in the higher parts of South Limburg.
Personally, I don't think these belong in our country and they are slowly becoming a nuisance.
