Lunar lines

My legs have been a bit stiff from running on Thursday and at parkrun, but they only felt a bit stiff today, so I thought I’d go for a run. My watch disagreed: rest, it said.

But I was all dressed up and ready to go, so I went out anyway. I only did a mile and a half, with a fast-ish sprint along one street. I could’ve gone faster if I’d been able to breathe more.

That was my first workout of the day. This evening, I went to Pilates. The moon struck me as I went out the door. A lightbird fluttered overhead.

Pilates was hard in the middle, but not as hard as last week. We did some moves that stretched my stiff leg muscles, so that was nice.
