Not really using the fort to its best potential

Well, happy birthday to me. Having myself tested dramatically positive for Covid yesterday, and with Ottawacker Jr. having been the initial bearer of the aerosol-borne germ, it came as little surprise that Mrs. Ottawacker completed the triumvirate of thw tearful today. Thankfully the three of us have all been on the very mild side of ill - to be honest, it feels more like a heavy cold than anything else - but we, of course, know little of the longer-term effects down the line. But for now, we soldier on.

The hare (or rabbit, as it insists on being called) (a hare identifying as a rabbit?) is sticking close to the garden as we cope with the mammoth snowfall and sub-Arctic temperatures. We hit -42 today without the windchill. Were I to set foot outdoors, I would be able to comment on the nipple-stiffening effect, but sadly - or is it sadly? - this didn't happen.
