ROSA banksiae Lady Banks White Rose

This vigorous, evergreen climber, with TINY
clusters of white flowers, was trained along
a long fence. We saw this plant, on our walk
& noticed it had no thorns. The flowers were just starting to bloom &
had a very delicate scent.

My research reveals it is considered a wild rose, & an “old” rose, because it arrived
in England, from China, in 1807.

It is drought, heat & disease tolerant.
It is non-toxic to dogs; but, is a fast grower & can become unruly.

We had the yellow variety in our yard in Arizona. I love yellow ROSES, so I get excited to see
them blooming in another area of the neighborhood.
