Ice Ice Baby!

This is the ice I took from one of the bird baths earlier, so I could give them some fresh water.
I propped it up on the patio table to see how long it would take to melt!
Then forgot about it! Another glorious blue sky day filled with sunshine.
It is Stephen’s birthday.
We went out with two of our friends for a meal at the Quinto lounge in town last night.
He started his day today with a trip to the dentist for his usual 6 month check up. The dentist had recommended that he should have two implants where he had a gap from having two teeth out several years ago.
The cost: £10,000! I kid you not!
Needless to say that’s not going to happen! A cheaper option is now in place.
And as we sat and had a late birthday breakfast at the Farmhouse Bistro, I couldn’t help thinking of the awful awful earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
It is so hard to see such devastation which arrived unseen at one fell swoop in the night.
Giving what we can may seem like a tiny thing, but collectively tiny things will become a much larger whole.
