Biscuiteroo

Gerard is the photo society's official biscuit monitor. The sweet snacks are so popular with the members that he has to don protective gear to withstand the onslaught at the tea break. 

He also takes a religious icon with him to feel more secure. You can see it on the shelf behind.

It helps to be wearing a helmet when he has been testing us with tricky questions* about how we processed our images in the meeting. A fascinating evening where eight of us exchanged unprocessed RAW versions of images. 

These were then passed to another participant who revealed how they treated the picture. This version was then compared with the version processed by the original photographer. Sounds complicated , and it took a lot of organising by Debbie, our technical officer.
