BGS

Thanks to L walking Django this morning - only she could fly back from the US and start waking up early! - I wasn't in a rush for my 10:00 class. It's in this building that used to be the British Geological Survey - so known as BGS - but is now run by the University as Merchison House. It's very light inside - unless you're teaching in the basement, as I was.

Afterwards, after lunch and a bit of programming, I had a long advisory chat with an MSc student, a decent chat with long-term colleague K, and a brief but productive supervision meeting with my smart and charming final year UG project student J. Finally, after some student admin I got back to programming.
