Bon Voyage.

An overnight trip to France with my son in law to rebuild a tree house destroyed by a storm 2 years ago. We arrived at his mums holiday cottage here in Lassay just south of Normandy and the house was freezing as we crept into our beds at 1am.
This morning we lit a blazing fire before heading off to the lake where we started to reassemble the tree house. Our hope is that the grandchildren will enjoy it when they visit.

Grateful for a working holiday with a tangible outcome, for time spent with Ian and for a roaring fire in the grate.
