I hoped the amaryllis would open ready for our visitors today and it did! One of the three blooms has opened and it looks really splendid.
Jem and Mik go to Slimming World and so they asked for a diet friendly lunch today. I made winter sausage stew and followed it with a sugar free fresh fruit salad. No wine, no nibbles, just copious cups of tea! They approved. The lunch fortified Norman and Jeremy for a session on finances, not popular with anyone, but it has to be done. We are very grateful to have this support.
