Dark Abbey

We said good-bye to Whitby in the early hours of this morning.It was dry when we left but two hours into the journey the heavens opened. We had to slow right down & it was too wet to stop for the services. It was a long trip home.
We are very tired today but I have managed to do all the washing. Our daughter, son-in law & grand-daughter came for a meal tonight. We had pies that we bought in the Humble Pie shop in Whitby. It will be any early night i think.
