Out first thing to walk up Calton Hill. Not too windy, and some good light for views all around. Back down by the Tattie Shaws vegetable shop on Elm Row; (too early for Valvona & Crolla), Andante for bread, and to fetch a newspaper. 

My brother appeared in the late morning briefly.
Out again later  while people were walking to the rugby, in a much stiffer wind.
