Wild Meadow Plant

I'm driving up to Liverpool tomorrow, so went to the supermarket to get my petrol this evening. On the way back I took a stroll along the Blackwater Valley River through Shepherds Meadow.

This wildflower on the river bank caught my eye because of its delicate white stamen. Apparently it could be an English Plantain.
