Valentines

It's been a good day. My sister and I joined our Mother for  lunch at the Care Home. The we took her to a local "farm shop" (fancy foods, toiletries, greetings cards, etc!)  for  some retail therapy and a cup of tea, which we all enjoyed. Mum  was happy to return  to the  Care Home and  admitted that  being there has done her "a lot of good". She explained that she meant she enjoyed having food prepared for her and being  pampered, plus having   company. As Christine and I left, we managed  to meet the Clinical Lead for a chat.She was very encouraging and said she feels our  Mother is happy there,  and is really beginning to settle in.   Hurrah!
