Snowdrop walk

Last night MrM hatched a 'rescue plan' for buying the house in Holmfirth,  and set the wheels in motion. A lot bit scary as it would mean leaving the flat empty until it sells, and it could come to nothing. But first thing this morning, confirmation that it can go ahead...

A couple of weeks ago Rena sent me a leaflet about the snowdrop walk at Howick Hall Gardens, and we arranged to meet up with her and Frank there this morning. It was fabulous - carpets of snowdrops everywhere we looked! Then a light lunch in the café there before we went our separate ways. On the way home MrM and I stopped briefly and walked a very short way down part of the coastal path near Howick. Some impressive cliffs and amazing rock strata (extra).

Home in time to tackle a couple of chores before yoga.
