Thirteen!!

Miss L is thirteen today. A teenager at last!
I’ve said before how different it could have been, but our guardian angels were with us that day and out of all the drama and chaos came our beautiful girl.
There’s not a day goes by I’m not thankful for her.
She’s loving, creative, energetic, thoughtful, funny, much cleverer than she thinks she is, dramatic, beautiful, empathetic, kind, generous, silly, independent, practical (she gets her furniture assembly ability and hammer skills from Daddy!!), intuitive, wise beyond her years, and generally pretty bloody perfect.
We are so lucky!!!
And so far, she’s a model teenager!!
Presents this morning before school which was lovely. And squirty cream and strawberries on pancakes, yummy!
It was so nice for Nanny to be there and share it with us.
Then it was to school with the Little Misses (Shall I start calling them the Teenage Misses?!) and to work with me.
Mr K went with his mum when she left to pick up Marshall. The garage is on the way to the motorway so saved us a trip, whoop whoop!
We went over to Milton Keynes tonight for the now traditional birthday Nando’s. Miss L was very sweet and said it was such a shame Nana and Papa weren’t there as usual.
Seven million chicken wings consumed and gallons of bottomless revolting mixed soft drink concoctions and it was time to go home for cake.
Despite testing negative this afternoon I’m starting to feel really coldy and I’m worried that if it is Covid all the excessive, loud, enthusiastic singing in the car will have spread it around the family nicely.
Today is day seven since mum tested positive. We’ll see!!
Back for the obligatory cake shots and then a Lemsip and bed.
What a great day.
Happy Birthday Lala, we love you xx
