Pitcher Plant Buds

Today, although my left leg is slightly better, it is only comfortable when absolutely straight with no weight on it; in consequence I have done very little.

Today's picture is again taken through the kitchen window, but this time the subject is on the same side of the window as the camera, with the window forming the background. This means that I have a silhouette of the buds that have formed on our pitcher plant and will presumably eventually turn into flowers. I understand that this is a relatively rare event; we have had the pitcher plant for several years now, but have never seen any buds before. Assuming that these do eventually open I will blip the flowers that are produced.
