High in the backyard

I had just started to peg out the washing this morning when I heard and then saw this Kereru. More than half the times I see a Kereru, another is either nearby or soon arrives. This one remained solitary until it left about some 30 minutes later.

I did spend a couple of hours clearing fallen leaves, twigs and branches from the deck and the gutters. Spent the rest of the day taking it easy.
