"Don't Call Me Tiny"

On This Day In History
1942: FDR orders Japanese Americans into internment camps

Quote Of The Day
"If you have to make laws to hurt a group of people just to prove your morals and faith, then you have no true morals and faith to prove."
(George Takei)

While I greatly admire George Takei for raising public awareness of the Japanese-American internment camps, and for speerheading the campaign for same-sex marriage, I do wish he would stop his constant tacky ribbing of William Shatner; it doesn't look good.

Show some class, George. Bill does.

Anyway, I hope you like this portrait I did of Hikaru Sulu, helmsman of the U.S.S. Enterprise and later the captain of the U.S.S. Excelsior. Let's strive for a future in which petty racial, sexual and religious differences no longer divide but, instead, enrich our species.
