Planetary Motion

On This Day In History
1473: Nicolaus Copernicus was born

Quote Of The Day
"I can easily conceive, most Holy Father, that as soon as some people learn that in this book which I have written concerning the revolutions of the heavenly bodies, I ascribe certain motions to the Earth, they will cry out at once that I and my theory should be rejected."
(Nicolaus Copernicus)

He wasn't wrong.

I finished my Star Wars diamond painting yesterday. How glad I am to be living now; a few hundred years earlier and I would have been imprisoned or burned alive for believing that life could exist on other planets.
