Cormorant

I walked down to St Bega's Church on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake this afternoon. Whilst at the shore I stumbled across this Cormorant, which posed for a Blip, but then I realised that something was wrong - it looked agitated, but wasn't able to fly off. It made for the edge of the lake on foot, but kept falling over, once it reached the water it swan away absolutely fine, but soon came back to shore where it struggled. I think it had a damaged wing.

Wish I could have helped.

In the evening, I presented my "Lakeland Perspective" talk for this year to Workington Camera Club. I've got a few bookings for the year, but still plenty of availability
