Intrigued

Intrigued by a certain arrival this morning. Not usually a fan of compilations, but this one is a very personal selection from Steven Wilson. Not many hit singles, just influential little known tracks on 4 CDs and a superb set of sleeve notes with each track coming with ample reading. Pleasantly surprised with the inclusion of Astradyne, an Ultravox instrumental track that started off the Vienna album. Refreshing considering most compilations only ever include Vienna or Dancing with..... Same could be said with the majority of the bands included here. All in a nicely presented urbanized hardback book style cover/gatefold. Hard work listening to it: still got CD 4 to spin yet. If you like your prog tunes it's well worth the purchase.
