New recruits

This is the second newest resident at the care home where mum moved from hospital on Friday and so is now the newest resident. This cocky chap arrived on Thursday. He is already wowing the ladies.
The home has a number of outside pens with hens and cockerels as well as ducks of various kinds. 

Mum has settled in better than we could have hoped for, but, after little stimulation in hospital for many weeks, she is receiving lots of attention. It has tired her out. Today she had her hair cut. Little things mean so much at the moment.

Her room is fabulous with a lots of room, a forest scene wallpaper across one wall and a number of leather seats and sofas. Much better than many a hotel room I've seen.
