At the patch

Yes, those are tiny strawberries!  It is the beginning of the growing season here.    The strawberry farm had starting getting little white specks of flowers that I could see  from the road  previously so I went by this morning on my way to bowling.   There was not a place to pull off except on the shoulder of the road but I did it and got out to take about 10 photos.  It was cloudy so the light is really awful on this because of the gray ground cover.   At the end of the rows...of which these were probably 20 rows that went a long way into the field...there was a roll of something to cover the plants in case the weather takes a dive back to freezing.  

We should have fresh strawberries by mid April if all goes well!
