Men at work

We went to bed late last night but I still woke up as usual and so I have felt tired all day. We have a north wind blowing so although the car was showing 25 degrees when we went into the village this morning, it’s been a mixed bag further up the hill where we live. The men were working either removing or installing telegraph poles, we couldn’t decide which. 
We had stocked some tins of tonic which I like to drink on their own in two locations. Most of them had leaked, what a black yuk mess we had to clean up. Not sure why they had leaked. They are difficult to get hold of.
