Sund

The weather has changed and its a cloudy start to the day.  Its a special birthday for one of our group today and she enjoyed receiving a few birthdays cards and small presents from us over breakfast.  We had a relaxed morning packing our bags ready for the journey to Reine where we are staying in chalets for the next four days.  We didn't stop on route as the weather wasn't inviting but once we had arrived set off to the small fishing village of Sund.  By now it was snowing and we had an hour here.  I decided to stay at the harbour practising long exposure shots only managing to take about two scenes.  It took a fair amount of cleaning the lens and filters to get shots without snow on them.

We travelled back to Reine stopping off in a supermarket to stock up on food.  When we left the snow had begun to build up.  As its not very cold about 0C whether there will be snow in the morning isn't clear.

I'm staying in a chalet with 3 others and we had a lovely relaxed meal cooked by one of them, he is a very good cook which is great.

Thank you so much for the hearts on my aurora shot the other day, it was so lovely to see.  I will comment soon once I have time.
