17:04 Golden light across the back gardens .

The sun is just slipping gradually towards the horizon.
Once again a busy day, including helping out my sister, who lives up in Knaresborough, to purchase a first birthday present for her latest grandchild who will be one next week.
I had a panic WhatsApp message this morning. She couldn’t figure out how to make the online purchase, directly from a seller in Sydney where her son and his partner and grandchild live. .
And she and my brother-in-law fly off to Spain tomorrow morning for a week’s break.
She had a stroke when she was 56 and has recovered well, as it didn’t affect her speech, but she had to learn to walk again.
Now she walks with the aid of a cane.
They have special assistance at the airport.
Purchase duly completed and the seller will deliver it next week.
Amazing really.
Our usual afternoon with Bobbie at the Garden Centre.
The staff are brilliant with her.
We got home after 16:00hrs when I went to bring in the washing from the line which I put out first thing after stripping the bedding.
It was fresh air dry!
The forecast for tomorrow didn’t look as promising. I have noticed that we have some sparrows nest building in the ivy and climbing hydrangea on the wall of the porch. Spring is advancing.
Time for tea shortly.
