Interlopers

Last year I planted a light scattering of bulbs all over the 'railway' lawn (a word I use loosely for this mowable gathering of moss and buttercup).

None of them were crocus.

None of them were in a group.

Wondering of this might have been a squirrels stash?  Do they do that with bulbs? 

Regardless, they're pretty.
