Taking a Dip

This white-throated dipper, Cinclus cinclus, was spotted on a small tributary of the River Leven, the Lothrie Burn, in Glenrothes.  Light was fading rapidly so not the best of results.  The slow shutter speed, 1/40th of a second, meant most of my captures showed motion blurring.

I have photographed them before at this location.
