Wintery scene

Its been a very busy day.  We were up and out early this morning hoping for some good light.  As we approached the classic shot of Hamnoy from Hamnoy Bridge we could see that it was very busy even before 8am.  We headed for another nearby location taking various scenes of similar red fishing huts and buildings as well as a fish drying rack with cod heads hanging from it.  Not a pleasant sight really.  We returned to the bridge to take our classic shot joining the others here.  It was pretty cold and windy up on the bridge.  We stopped at various other locations on the way back to Reine where we had a late breakfast / early lunch.  We were soon back out into the cold and snow heading for Nusfjord and Skelfjord.  There were so many photo opportunities including one of a small cute red toilet hut.  I have include a few shots of barns and the 'classic' Hamnoy image in extras.  This shot was taken in the afternoon probably somewhere near Skelfjord I will have to check up on the exact location later.  At the time some very dark clouds were rolling in and the winds picking up, they are certainly strong at times.

We were back late calling in at a supermarket on the way home.  We are cooking in small groups and I am fortunate in that in my cabin one of the members volunteered to do all the cooking and he is a very good cook.

We are all starting to feel rather tired now but it has been a very full day.
