Bark detail

The day started grey and windy.  I wasn't able to do my usual water fitness class as the outdoor pool had lost one of its panel coverings during Storm Eunice.  As Abstract Thursday's theme is texture I decided to go back to Bystock Pools where I had noticed some lovely bark patterns on the Scots Pine trees.  As I got ready to go the sun came out with blue skies but as I set off not much later is was grey and raining.  A few shots were taken in the light drizzle and then the sun came out and the skies were blue again.  So changeable.  An extra of the delightful sunlight.  Even better the day has progressed into a sunny but windy one.
