Prehistoric Vistas

The "photo gang" met up at Avebury at the start of a long weekend of photography (though probably coffee shops and catch-up  chats will feature largely), before heading to Bath for 2 nights.  

In between coffee shop sessions (elevenses followed by lunch) we wandered around the stones, though to be honest I find these harder to photograph than nearby Stonehenge say.  The dull weather was not helping. Still it was good to meetup again, and having reached Bath we were suitably impressed with our airbnb house within walking distance of the city.  A delicious meal in a vegetarian Indian restaurant  has ended the day nicely.

Of the few shots I took, I rather liked this one across the open fields surrounding Avebury, with the tiny-looking barn and paths up to the ridge.
