One daze at a time...

Sweet sixteen

Happy Birthday Mimi!

You are not getting a car. Sorry, Child. We are not in the US (of A).

Lots* of love.

Dad

* Lots and lots and lots of love. But no car.

I am really delighted that you were so happy with your new (well, first, really) laptop. Now you can be a writer. And a student. You have your own laptop. It was a collective effort. So thanks too to Nana, and Pepe, and Uncle Justin.

You have so much to look forward to. The four (4!) ballet shows tomorrow and Sunday. You'll kill it as Blue Bird. And Cinderella. I know you're sick with the nerves right now but you'll be grand. More than grand. It can be quite a handicap to be a perfectionist. Go there and enjoy yourself.

Then you'll have the trip to Paris in April. That's going to be a great experience. You deserve it. You are a great kid. Calm, poised, gaining in confidence, smart, pretty. Transition Year can be a bit of a doss but I think that the work experience parts are proving to be useful. You have shown a lot of maturity and the feedback has been impressive so far. You'll be very good at whatever you set your mind to achieving.

Don't lose the spark.

Thank you for being you.

Don't change anything.

PS: nope, no car
