Wild water swimmers

 
Met these two guys about to swim in Cocksburn reservoir. They took it up after Covid. 
 
“Isn’t the water cold?” 
It's nippy today, about  9C .

 “Oh no! there’s  no ice. Sometimes we have to bring a pick axe to break it .”
I prefer swimming in a warm pool, I tell them.
“That’s not healthy. You should try this.”
Maybe not.
