Unexpected sun

I was expecting a cold, overcast day. This morning was cold but some blue sky was peeking through. I was so happy when some actual sun shone. It is such a mood changer especially when it is cold. This morning there were some snow flurries while it was sunny. I tried to get a photo of the snow sparkling but it wasn't great. This evening as the sun was going down I took this icicle with a bit of sun shining on it. It's about as good as I could get today. I didn't feel much like walking around outside taking pictures.
The solar gain was nice for the birds and the bunnies today. Tonight the heat lamps are plugged back in as it's going to be the cold night. I'm sure we will be below 0 tonight. Maybe spring will come in March.
