Frozen

At last I got done the ice flowers.
 
I have had a thought of trying it for years, but I wanted to do it at least for the first time in real conditions, not in the freezer. Now it was degrees below zero, we had withering flowers that are very good for this purpose and timing was good for me too. But, before the thing got frozen the weather changes warmer, colder, warmer and colder. After two days it looks like this. I suppose it never froze completely, the interior probably remained liquid. That's the reason for the tilt. The flowers also moved down, but they do still look well set. It was very easy to make ignoring the weather.

Pity that the decoration are a short-lived joy, for last years a continuous periods of frosty days have been short. Anyway, I was delighted.
