Timber!!!

After several years of saying we must take the tree outside the house down, today ot finally came down ( in about an hour!). Sleepers have been ordered to sort out the front garden, which is on an annoying slope. Feeling as if the house is coming on a bit at the moment
 New bathroom going in, hall flooring going in, front garden underway. Next (last) big job is the upstairs carpet. 

Two boys were very happy to help with the tree felling!
