Not the godfather!

Another morning in Edinburgh and what a change to the weather! Up early and out for a drive down to the borders to Stobo Castle- my daughter had got me vouchers for a spa day for Christmas and we are finally getting round to using them.
Interesting drive but very, very wet! Narrowly missed both a deer and a fox running in front of the car- keeps you awake anyway!
Wonderful destination spa in an old castle, very welcoming in this horrible weather.
After we changed, joining everybody else wandering around in robes and slippers, we used the pool, steam rooms, jacuzzis and even braved the outdoor tub!
Time for a relaxing massage before lunch- very surreal sitting in a formal dining room in your goonie - another relax in the drawing room/lounge (had hoped for a stroll to the famous japanese gardens but it was still raining) then a lovely facial and massage. A lovely relaxing day spending quality time with my 'baby'.
