Standing Ovation.

It was a special day today... our Eastern Cape Philharmonic Orchestra played in our beautiful Feathermarket Hall for the first time in four years. During the two years of Covid it was vandalized... air conditioning units, sound system, lights, toilets completely trashed. Slowly but surely it has been revamped and today the orchestra could perform there.
It was a beautiful concert, and we can only hope for the future of our orchestra.
Bitter sweet for hubby T to be at the concert. With his Parkinson's Disease he can no longer play his double bass. But he has good memories of many happy years being part of the exciting atmosphere of the orchestra.
We found a lovely new restaurant after our early morning Church service today. A very different, but delicious breakfast and lovely atmosphere.
Back home, this evening we are watching the recorded final of the ladies T20 cricket final between SA and Australia. I wonder who won...
