Te hokianga mai - the return

Had a slightly restless sleep as I'd left the bedroom window open for fresh air. Cat, of course found her way in and snuggled up with me for the night.

Up at a notch before 6.30.  Coffee, chats, final final pack, farewells with Shaw, Amelia and Iain then Fi, Della and I were heading off along the M40 towards Heathrow.  Semantle done before we arrived then into what was a crazy, busy airport given it's only Sunday morning.  Final farewells are always hard and this was no different.  The end of a trip I should never have been making.....

Boarded plane into cattle class, and feeling every bit like a sardine. 10 hrs 20mins to go for leg 1.......
