Dechrau'r flwyddyn newydd ~ The beginning of the new year

Heddiw oedd diwrnod blwyddyn newydd, blwyddyn Cwningen Ddŵr. Roedd diwrnod dathlu gyda llawer o fwyd Tibet, yn arbennig Kapse (ཁ་ཟས་) (crwst wedi'u ffrio) a Momos (མོག་མོག)(pastai fach wedi'u ffrio).

Un o'r myfyrwyr yn y llinach ydy Sonam sy'n dod o deulu Tibet yn Nepal. Mae hi'n gallu gwneud Momos yn gyflym iawn.

Ar y pryd o fwyd noson bwytais i un ar ddeg Momos. Rydw i'n meddwl fy mod i'n mynd yn drymach, ond mae'n ddim ond unwaith y flwyddyn...

Gwnes i balu mwy o 'gwelyau uchel' yn yr ardd gegin. Mae angen llawer o waith i wneud o gwmpas y tir ac mae'n dda iawn i helpu tipyn bach. (Dydw i ddim yn meddwl ei fod e'n gwneud un rhywbeth am fy ngholli pwysau, serch hynny).

Today was new year's day, the year of the Water Rabbit. There was a day of celebration with lots of Tibetan food, especially Kapse (ཁ་ཟས་) (fried pastry) and Momos (མོག་མོག) (small fried pies).

One of the students in the lineage is Sonam who comes from a Tibetan family in Nepal. She can make Momos very quickly.

At the evening meal I ate eleven Momos. I think I'm getting heavier, but it's only once a year...

I dug up more 'raised beds' in the kitchen garden. A lot of work needs to be done around the land and it is very good to help a little bit. (I don't think it does anything about my weight loss, though).
